Cristina Maria Pereira de Almeida Graça

She is currently studying for a doctorate in Cultural Studies at the Catholic University of Lisbon.

Since 2002, she has been an assistant professor at ESD, having also taught, within the scope of the Erasmus Program, in partner schools of the University of Turku (Finland) and the University of Stavanger (Norway).

She was a teacher at the National Conservatory Dance School (between 1985 and 2002) and at the National Ballet Company (between 1989 and 1993).

As a dancer, she worked with the Oficina de Teatro Dança, the Olissipo Dance Group and the Santarém Regional Choreographic Center Company. She also collaborated with the theatre A Comuna, as a dance teacher and choreographer. She choreographed for the Madeira Dance Company in 2000.

She created the choreographic piece “A revolta do bosque encantado” for ESD, aimed at children.
